I've had pump repairs and replacements with Jay over the last 20 years and highly recommend him. Yes he's a little salty, so if you have thin skin and can't take a joke then this is not the place for you. If you can follow direction, want to save some money, and want the best quality work you can get then Jay is the guy.
My pool pump was getting louder by the day and all I could think about was spending a couple thousand dollars for a replacement. I found Jay and gave him a call. He told me how to disconnect my motor, which was easier than I thought. Then I brought the motor to him and he had it fixed the next morning. I brought it home, hooked it back up, and everything is running great. He also gave me some tips regarding maintenance which I had never known, even after owning a pool for a decade. I had my pool pump repaired and Jay did an excellent job. He repaired it in less than an hour and saved me time and money. Although his language and ability to communicate is a little rough/edgy, I understand it is the result of an accident but he’s clearly a hardworking individual who knows his trade. I highly recommend his work and I would return without hesitation.
This guy is the best. Pool at beach ..salt air rusts out pump every two years. Jay has done work for me over 10 years. I trust him 100%
This guy might know pumps but he doesn’t know people. He’s vulgar without context, demeaning and insulting for no reason. He cuts you off while speaking and doesn’t seem to even want to be there. He made it seem like me calling his business was an inconvenience and unwanted so I took my money and time elsewhere. I’m not sure if he has Asperger’s or is an alcoholic but I’ve never spoken with a more crass and off putting individual.
