We went to look at a car they had listed & there was a hose unhooked under the hood upon inspection. When my husband hooked it up the "check engine" light came on. Suddenly, the dealer couldn't explain it. They had "sent it out" to be worked on and it must have been "bought from the auction like that" we were told. How would someone overlook a hose like that but everything else was hooked up? My guess is it made the light inside go away! They still wanted top dollar for the car.
