Listen I don't post reviews much. But I had a clawfoot bathtub powder coated buy them. And it looks like s***. I was kind of blown away that the first time around they were okay with how the goddang thing looked. It had pits all in it you could see the steal in bottom of the tub. As we were looking at it the second time around it had a paint run a foot long. I asked him if he was going to standby this work. And he refused to make it right. Wheelock & Sons sandblasted and powder coated 8 Tolix-style stools for me. They look BETTER than new! The price was more than reasonable - I could not replace 1 stool for what I paid to have 8 restored to better condition than when I purchased them. I prefer to use local, family businesses whenever possible, and Wheelock's friendly service and attention to detail makes working with them a great experience.
