I have gone to Wheeling Hospital for over 45 years, and I only had to wait once because the Emergency Room was packed. But overall, I all ways had a good experience. The nurses were very pleasant, and the doctors have been very nice. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to your patients.

When I moved here to years ago I had no idea incompetent a group of doctors or a hospital could actually be. Being on both sides as a nurse and as a patient.I can honestly say "The good old boys club mentality" is in full swing here. I love West Virginia and it never occurred to me this lack of professionalism,lack or empathy and incompetence could be in one place. Our toddler who isn't even two years old had a fever for 6 days, we took him in. Nothing was done aside from taking his temp, and saying eh probably viral come back in a few days. Day 12 my wife went back so I had to call off work to stay home with our other child while she took him in again. Still fevered, caught, obviously in the respiratory tract. Get here at 12::30 a.m. my dad was not even seen by anyone until 3:30 where he was seen by PA not a doctor at 3:45 they finally gave him something for pain at 4:30 they decided to take him for his X-ray and we have been sitting here ever since it is now 5:00 a.m. WVU needs to step up their game this emergency Room at WVU/wheeling hospital is horrible!

I have NEVER seen such horrible moral && disrespectful doctors. Family medicine has gone down hill. I beleive a little compassion goes a long way. Especially, when you took this profession on BY CHOICE. The elder male family doctor (therapist) is the most heartless person && with the peoole he encounters daily being a therapist he should really watch. One thing can set or crumble someone world !!!!! I hate that thus is the nearest hospital. And they wonder why people will nearly die before they go there!!!!!! Disgusting, a... read more

Nobody dare smile or have courage to be nice to the patients. What a dreadful place!!!! I just wish OVMC would open their doors again. And i can be rid of this worthless "hospital"

To whom it may concern at Wheeling Hospital, I visited your hospital at roughly 730 am for a persistent shooting/stabbing pain caused by a fall and trauma to my tailbone region on Sunday 5/26. I am very dissatisfied to how I was treated especially at the cost to care ratio. I was given 2 sets of x-rays and 1 cat scan. Ball park in the thousands if I have a deductible to meet, yes?
