My experience was unnecessary tooth loss and expensive repairs. I had a severe burning of all my top teeth. My dentist referred me to Dr. Wheeler for evaluation. Initially Dr. Wheeler said he suspected the problem was not dental. Then he changed his mind & suggested to do the root canal. After 2 hours of drilling, he said he couldn't find the nerve and said, “you’re not gonna like this but that tooth has to come out.” He was very concerned that the tooth be extracted quickly. Dr. Wheeler is an excellent doctor. I wish he did general dentistry, I would go to him for everything. His calm approach, and communication skills are second to none. I was referred to him in an emergency situation and he got me right in, and made my pain disappear. Thank you Dr. Wheeler for your expertise, it was very much appreciated.
Dr Wheeler and his assistant Patricia are superb. Expertise and compassion. I have full confidence in his work - he certainly is doing an incredible job with me.

What a fantastic Dentist and crew! First of all, the office is simple, clean, and architecturally beautiful inside. All equipment is modern. Both Dr Wheeler and his assistant are very friendly and knowledgeable. I knew exactly what to expect at all times. Everything was clearly explained to me throughout my visits there. I had little to no pain after my procedure. BTW I found out I needed the root canal at 3 pm and got into Dr Wheeler first thing the next morning! Kudos to you Dr Wheeler!
If you think charging $1100/hr., the cost of a single root canal of a front lower tooth is reasonable, then ignore this review. I was also asked for an additional $100 for a consult!
