Wheaton was well organized in the process of moving my belongings from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to North Carolina.
Dealing with corporate is cold and uncaring. They lost an important piece and refused to pay for it. I would give them a lower rating but the pick up and delivery crews were great.
We have moved 6 times in the last 40 years. Wheaton is by far superior to all movers we have used. From the walk through and quote, to packing, delivery and set up...superior. very professional, took extreme care in protecting our belongings. Nothing that they packed was broken or damaged in any way. All members helpful, and professional. I used a color coding system to ensure items went in to proper location on delivery. I thought the move went reasonably well. I had moved out of state and had my items placed in storage. As a time saver and because we were initially worried that my items wouldn’t all fit in the truck it was agreed that I would leave clothing and some other items in my dressers as long as they were not left loose. When I went to get my clothing out of storage after the season changed I found all my furniture had been emptied. I could not locate any extra or new boxes where it could have been moved to. Breda Moving and Wheaton Van Lines partnered together to bring us back to Illinois from Kentucky and did an amazing job! They were efficient, polite, careful, and clean. Moving was fast in/out in no time. They are storing for the 2nd time and when we move to Huntley in a year we know the process will be the same! You can count on Breda and Wheaton.
