This is my third place and has been for over a year!! Whether I’m lifting/walking in the fitness center or doing work in the library, I’m happy to spend time in this beautiful building. Free parking is an added benefit too :)
It is so disappointing that we have such a nice facility that was built for the community, yet the staff seem fit to minimize the attendance of certain events. I used to play basketball here every Saturday night for the last few years and that has come to an end. Actually, any sort of adult basketball has been completely removed from the schedule, or it has been moved to a time slot that won’t work for the people it is intended for. I enjoy visiting the recreation center and appreciate having a community space for activities like table tennis and pool. However, there are several issues that seriously need improvement. Some employees displayed rude and unprofessional behavior and did a poor job managing both time limits and people using the recreational areas. Instead of calmly resolving situations and enforcing rules fairly, staff sometimes became argumentative with visitors and created unnecessary scenes.
