They dropped me as a patient for no reason immediately after laser surgery for my diabetic retinopathy. No one will tell me why, I have to wait for their certified letter. I had been with my retinal specialist Doctor Setlur for years. He even had me make another appointment. The clinic would not let me speak to him. The initial call leaves one confused as to how to pick practical items such as the possible need for eyeglass replacement, etc. The staffing of receptionists via telephone is ridiculous where one has to wait 15 + minutes before a receptionist comes on the line and in many cases says that they have to transfer you to a different line and then you wait another 10 plus minutes before a lovely friendly receptionist finally comes on the line such as Connie and then takes care of your needs. The doctors and others here were uncaring and did a very, very bad job of surgery. They rush patients and only seem to care about your $$$$$$$$.
I despise this place. The assembly line experience of running the gauntlet of check in desks and being shuffled from room, to waiting room, to room by cold and impersonal staff is bad enough... I took my 12 year old daughter there because she was blinking a lot, sometimes having a hard time focusing on things in front of her, and complaining of her eyes being dry.
