I have never been to Highland Animal Hospital and don't intend to go there because they obviously cater to people with money to burn. I called to inquire about scheduling an ultrasound to confirm or rule out pregnancy in my healthy bitch (my regular vet does not have an ultrasound). I was told that the cost for the procedure would be $45 for an "exam" plus an additional fee of up to $175 for the ultrasound (exam). For comparison, my previous vet in Tennessee charges $45 total for the same procedure. What a shame it is that s... read more
Highland is one of the best in Augusta. When my Ralphie Cat had a urinary tract blockage they treated him like he was one of their own animals. When it was time for me to let my Divot my go, they show the utmost compassion. Highly recommend this vet hospital.
