Just off Mass street in Lawrence, Wheatfields is a great place to get that sandwich. Lunch, or dessert that's unique and Delicious!
Wheatfields is so good. The food is fresh and delicious. The staff is hard working, but always has time for customers and they are always friendly even when they're busy, which is most of the time. Did I mention the food is delicious.
This is my go to stop for breakfast when on the way to Topeka or Lawrence. Drove in from KC while down there on a business trip just for the cucumbers and onions, did have breakfast too.
Thought I had biscuits&gravy hundreds of times before...turns out...today was the first! Sincere service and a bustling atmosphere got the day started off in the right direction!

The food was awesome. I got a loaf of bread to take home and it was wonderful. The Rueben I ate was juicy and perfect. My four year old nephew wanted the carrot cake so he could eat the carrot but he ate the whole piece and said it was delicious!!!
