I have been going to the Wheat and Rye (Airport) for the past 10 years+. that one closed earlier this year, and many of us were sad. So I tried this Wheat and Rye on Allen Rd. I was horrible disappointed the Corn beef Sandwich was not toasted, cheese was not melted. It was not the standard I expected.

Ordered take out on a Thursday. Got their Polish combo. No designated area for pick up orders you just have to catch someone running around. The ladies behind the bar were nice. Unfortunately got home to enjoy my $20 dinner to find the meat in my cabbage rolls was completely raw. I reached out to the restaurant and was ignored. I posted a comment on their social media and it was deleted. I commented again addressing this and I was completely blocked on their social media page. Completely unprofessional. Can’t go wrong here for the price and quality of food. There steaks are very reasonably priced and always delicious. The Reuben is the number 1 for anyone with an appetite and it’s always delicious . It’s your fault if you leave hungry

The order got messed up cause of computer problems, but the steak sandwich and onion rings were excellent and made up for the wait. Hope to be back for more
