I was planning a strawberry picking trip and was looking for good lunch options and stumbled across Wharf Hill. The website looked interesting. The history of the building and the personality of the management was enough to convince me that this was the place to try, and then I saw the menu and it was a done deal. Wharf Hill it was. As always....delicious! Monsta soft shell crabs! Could barely eat one.
Place was amazing. Great food, great bar, great vibe. AWESOME location in historic Smithfield. Service was great and they were very accommodating. My wife and I (from chesapeake) WILL return as frequently as possible.

Very good food at a decent price. A tad loud for me, but once in the dining room not as bad. Highly recommend the blackened tuna, was delicious.
Party of 6 for dinner on a very rainy Saturday night. We were seated quickly and our waitress, Betty, made us feel right at home. Food was great all the way around the table. Beer was cold, although service from the bar was a little slow. Nice, comfortable atmosphere, and good food! We will definitely return.
