Incredibly rude ultrasound tech. I had to drink 16 ounces of water an hour before hand and not void any urine and I also have interstitial cystitis so this really put me in a lot of pain. I arrived 10 minutes late, obviously not on purpose. When she called me in, I was walking very slow and I apologized for walking slow and stated I was in the world of pain and she immediately started complaining it was because I was late. Pain MGMT sucks. Instead of listening they slap you with a behavior policy to sign, then to say you broke it. Ridiculous. Geri, a PHysician Assistant was the one. She's terrible anyway, I wasn't returning.
Wexford Hospital has the best lab in the area! The techs are great at what they do and anytime I’ve had my blood drawn here it’s been pretty much painless. This last time I went there even though there were a lot of people in the waiting room, they had me in pretty quickly. Also, they process your labs in house so your results start coming in quickly. Also, be sure to stop by the cafeteria! It’s affordable and the food is really good! My kids look forward to mom and dad having to go for labs so we can get lunch in the cafete... read more
Normally I have a great experience with the outpatient lab. Today however, I had a phlebotomist who argued with me and wouldn't use the pediatric needle I requested. I've always requested and gotten the same needle size each time, and this time she lied and said it would "compromise the test integrity." I told her it would blow out the vein in my arm, and SURPRISE, it did just that. If you go to the outpatient lab, see anyone except Amy, the older technician with short hair.
