I had a particular jeep i looked at online and drove in to look at on a Sunday. I went in Monday with a pre approval from Capitol One. They waited on me quickly and I was on a test drive within 5 minutes. They tried to get me a better deal from the many banks they use. The manager greeted me as soon as I walked in and quickly got me a salesman. My dad was looking at a jeep here. I had worked in car sales for a decade so I had him asking all of the questions to make sure he qualified for everything before making the 2hr one way trip. Gets there and they add $9k to the price of the vehicle after the manager told him to come into the dealership today. Shady sales manager playing scams like it’s the 1990s.
