I was charged $605.00 to have one tooth extracted!! I was charged $100.00 for a consultation which never happened!!! Dr. Sandau extracted my tooth. I opted to stay awake for the procedure. Dr. Sandau numbed the area. After waiting a short amount of time after the local anesthesia was given, Dr. Sandau proceeded to pull my tooth. RecommendedI. HATE. THE. DENTIST!!! So imagine my trauma at realizing I was going to have to have oral surgery...UGH!! My primary dentist recommended Westwood and with much trepidation I made my appointment. (Be warned: it does take a while to get in.) I took my son to Westwood Oral Surgery because he was in excruciating pain due to his wisdom teeth. Dr. Sandau and his staff were awesome! Dr. Sandau is very kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. He made us feel very comfortable as he explained the procedure step by step. What a great experience. We were impressed that every tooth was removed in tact, no broken or splintered teeth. I had a great experience at Westwood Oral Surgery. Dr. Sandau and his team were all fantastic- warm, caring, and took the time to address all my questions and concerns. My wisdom tooth experience was smooth sailing start to finish, and I had zero issues afterwards, minimal soreness. I kept waiting for my cheeks to swell up like you hear about, but it never happened. I was in and out in under 10 minutes for my follow up appointment. I wish all my dental care was this smooth. Highly recommend!
I can't stress enough how great this office is. I took my daughter there to get her wisdom teeth out years ago and had a great experience . So when it was time for my son to get his out with no hesitation I called to schedule at this office again. My 8 yr old son needed an extraction of a permanent molar. Dr. Sandau, his assistant Marissa, and staff were truly AMAZING!!! With me being a concerned parent for the well-being of my child, Dr. Sandau explained in detail recommended treatment for my son, answered all my questions, understood all my concerns, and knew exactly what to do.
