The wait time shown on the waiting room chart says it'll be less than an hour, but in reality the wait is at least 4-6 hours. Even then the priority of severity doesn't really make sense. Stable pets checking in days after a surgery gets seen before a pet with active open wound and is currently bleeding.... I understand the staff are tirelessly working and every pet matters. But the system and their escalation standard makes no sense. Oh and every review about the high price is real so be prepared.
You shouldn’t have to wait three hours if it’s an emergency! There’s a receptionist and no staff!
I have 4 dogs and over the last 6 years every single one of them has had to visit medvet from pancreatitis to an infected tail. The people here truly care about our pets I honestly trust them more than my regular vet. They always message me a few days after I bring home my dog to check in on them and that is so above and beyond. I will continue to bring my pets here for emergencies or when my family vet can’t get them in.
