Filthy apartment building, when the fire alarm sounds the elderly residents who use wheelchairs and walkers often remain in their units, hoping for the best. I have always felt that the management company is not up to par. The residents are low-income federal housing assistance recipients, and the building itself is in poor condition. I spend 20+ hours a week here with a client and it's been like 6 months since any cleaning has been done except the first floor sometimes. The elevators smell like dog urine and body oder because they haven't been cleaned. The hall carpets haven't been vacuumed. And the stairwell are disgusting. Security needs to be improved. Homeless are sleeping in the stairwell. And tonight, someone just got stabbed in the stairwell. This is very sad that the tenants are not more protected.
