This is one of the worst companies I have ever had to interact with. I don't even know where to start. They seem to be incapable of following through on what they say they will do. They print statements once a month and mail them to you so late in the month that you get the statement days before it is due. I can only assume they are using antiquated software that is so outdated that it is not capable of automatically printing a new statement once you make a payment. My original loan was through West Star Vegas, and they sold it/transferred it a few months ago to West Star Phoenix. West Star Las Vegas had my updated mailing address and did not give it to the new mortgagee. I could not get information on my loan, or how to pay on it or anything! I called multiple times, and they told me that the information had been sent via mail, so they couldn't give me the information over the phone. This company is very shady, they seem like a mickey mouse fly by night operation. They took over my mortgage from a very reputable bank but they failed to ever send me the legally required notification regarding the transfer. Upon contacting their customer service they advised they were not a mickey mouse company and then went on go describe why they are a mickey mouse company. Weststar lost some employees and it has been awful since then. There are horrendous mistakes made to my accounts. Literally applying credit as payment for hundreds of thousands of dollars that should have been added to principal. Like a third grader couldn’t screw that up. Communication is poor. They don’t understand how to deal with complex situations and have actually interfered with legal processes with no rationale and against my attorney. Their sense of urgency is not there.
