Teeth My cat has been seen here twice for dental extraction for reabsorptive leisions. Dr. Hoover offered to take all the teeth out at once the first time. It would have been nice if he had explained that it was almost inevitable that the remaining teeth would deteriorate, and strongly urged me to have all the teeth out. Dental extraction is very expensive, $800-$1,200 each time.
One of the WORST experiences I have ever had pertaining to the well-being of my animal. Being chastised by a vet who only saw dollar signs on my dogs head and not wanting to listen, while blaming /ME/ for the health of my animal and not understanding nor wanting to listen to the facts or history surrounding my animal. RecommendedI took my puppy there for her third set of shots and a well puppy check up. They were so kind to her and made sure she was comfortable with them before they stated the exam which was very low key. They gave her a treat to lick while she got her shots and there wasn’t a peep out of her. I have been taking my animals to vets for 50 years and this is the most impressed I have ever been!!!
First visit with my two cats, excellent services and prices!
Everyone here - especially the vets - are wonderful, kind and respectful! I am always impressed when we have occasion to be here but especially grateful for the great care of my dogs!

I have been at Westside since moving to NC in 2008. This is the most amazing vet clinic I've ever gone to, with staff I truly treasure. They go out of their way to make us at home at each and every visit. There is no one I trust more regarding the care of my precious babies. Thank you, Westside!!
This was one of the best experiences we have ever had at the doctor. Our dog broke her tooth, and they were able to do a root canal so she wouldn't have to loose it! The staff is so loving and caring, I instantly knew Holly was in great hands. We will be coming back with all of our pets from now on!
