This location has always been excellent, from the receptionists to the nursing staff to the PAs to the MDs. I have never had a less than stellar care experience. I have a Primary Care Physician but I can always get in to see someone when I am experiencing an urgent health situation. I can’t say enough good things.
My husband was brought to the strong West ER on 6/20/23 for trouble breathing he has stage 4 lung cancer and we were at his Oncology doctor at Wilmont Cancer center at strong west they listed to his heart and lungs thought maybe a blood clot so sent us to the ER the doctor on call at that time 11:30am was terrible barely spoke to us had the nurse well at least 5 running around like crazy. My daughter is a patient at Highland Hospital and there is a Doctor Beddoe who works in the maternity unit. She is a GOD sent Angel. Dr. Beddoe and her team cared for my daughter with soooo much love , compassion and professionalism, I don’t even write reviews on things but this is something to talk about . They are amazing
I don't even want to give this place any stars. The service has gone down hill. Ive been a patient since I was born and I'm in the process of finding a new doctor. They send you for scans and imaging and don't even call you back. They put false information on your my chart not once but twice. I can go on and on about this place.
I came from Florida and came here voluntarily for a visit for mental health evaluation after a tragic incident that I had, The room that that had me in was like a prison cell. MALPRACTICE-Misrepresentation of credentials My advice-if you go to EIOH, record your conversations. Beware! EIOH misrepresents license-ineligible practitioners as "experienced dentists who have had or could have a practice of their own". Those are Eliav's words. Can't comment on hospital but if you are a travel nurse beware. I am a registered nurse was hired for long term care facility with Strong. Last day of training which included set up/review safe medicate and then took the exam. No review happened for safe medicate. After the set up, the exam started without doing any review. They knew my work experience which was not in a hospital. Yet, I was let go because I didn't score high enough on test. A few other people were also fired because they failed test. Waited an hour and a half only to have to listen to the girl at the desk give everybody a piece of her SNOTTY, rude attitude. I get that no one wants to work on a Saturday, but you can’t treat people the way myself and 15 others listened to over and over . I went for routine blood work. I arrived about 7:20 AM and was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Everyone was very pleasant and professional. The young lady who took my blood, Candace, was great! I never even felt it when she put the needle in my arm. I will definitely return to this lab for all my blood work!
