I lived at West Shore Apartments for six years, and what started as a decent living situation deteriorated dramatically into one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I wish there had been more transparency throughout the application process. I received an email stating that there was a studio vacancy at Westshore, so I completed the application, paid the $40 fee, and scheduled an appointment to view the unit and go over the paperwork. I was told during the tour that the studio was available and that I’d receive screening results in 3–5 business days. I’ve resided here for approximately 3 years. No place is perfect. There are ups and downs, highs and lows. This building is located in Downtown Portland and is convenient to all public transportation as well as restaurants and shopping.

So I posted my last review with full stars and I wish I could edit it because I regret to inform anyone reading this that after living here for almost 4 years this place is a joke! Management does such a bad job (they can't even keep a maintenance man working here), I agree with what Shasta said that other residents will isolate you and disrespect you or spread rumors about you! It's not worth $800 or whatever you're about to pay to live here! I'm moving out because it's THAT bad...
