Steven and his events team did a fantastic job of organising a celebration for our family member’s 90th birthday in the River Room. Communication with the team was excellent, we had plenty of support in the lead up to the event, and the day itself ran very smoothly with Riley and his crew on the ground ensuring we were well looked after. The space is nice and bright with a lovely view.
Despite having a fantastic dinner in the Aqua restaurant, we were extremely disappointed in the bar upstairs called Jimmy’s. This is mainly due to the fact that the staff downstairs said that the restaurant was closing, however, we could go upstairs and enjoy a few drinks at Jimmy’s. But when I asked the bartender to make me a cocktail, she said “no, I’ve cleaned everything, so I can’t have a drink” This was extremely rude, lazy and unprofessional! Westport yr 6 graduation
I had my partners surprise 70th birthday inches Pre Function lounge. Steven took me through the process and I was very happy with the cost of the platters etc. Riley was amazing as our event host for the afternoon. He went out of hes way to make sure guests were aware that we had arrived and made it a real surprise. It was no trouble for him to keep me informed wih the next phase of the afternoon. Thank you for an absolutely wonderful evening. We could not have expected any better. Our host was very calm and obliging to every request or suggestion we had. Nothing was too much trouble. He rearranged tables and decorations, had some great advice for us and generally ran the whole evening to perfection. Well done to all the staff that were involved.
