I had a very positive experience at Westpark Springs. The staff was kind, professional, and treated me with respect throughout my stay. The nurses and doctors took the time to listen, answer my questions, and make sure I was comfortable. The facility was clean and well organized, and I appreciated the care and support I received. Thank you to everyone at Westpark Springs for your dedication and compassion. I would recommend this hospital to anyone looking for quality care.

My 15-year-old daughter was admitted for mental health treatment. The mental health professionals did an excellent job. The medical staff, however, were a completely different story. When she was admitted, she was on her menstrual cycle. We were told that the facility would provide all of her medications and personal care necessities. We had to rush home to get her clothes, yet it took them a day and a half to get those clothes to her. There were a handful of very nice, respectful staff members but they are vastly outnumbered. Consistently being treated with a nasty attitude isn't helpful to people who are in a situation that requires they stay at a hospital. There were a lot of really sad, unethical choices being made by staff. Barking orders at people who are suffering (and initially treating you with respect) is downright cruel. To deny my son his phone call by saying the phone is "not working" is crazy work. Communication with family matters, especially for these kids. And to the woman on the Willow Unit—the one the other kids call "Mom"—telling my son, "Don't get in any trouble" or "Don't kill yourself" is deeply troubling and completely inappropriate.
