BEWARE!! Beware of Dr. Shea and his billing practices. I received a call from his office several weeks ago stating that my insurance refused to pay for a routine cleaning I had done 6+ months ago, and that I owed him $94 as a copay. I called my insurance company and they informed me that what Dr. Shea billed for was not considered a routine cleaning (perigingival maintenance) and a $150 deductible existed due to this.
