Today, I visited the Westpac branch in Ingleburn because I was unable to log in to my online banking account and reset my password. Unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience with a staff member named Jasmine, who was standing at the entrance. I felt that she was rude and unfriendly towards me. DISRESPECTFUL AND RUDE
On 26/05/2026, my father passed away. My mother has been a long-time Westpac customer and had money locked away in a term deposit. We urgently needed access to those funds to pay for my father's funeral. As this was the first death in our family, we were only made aware that all funeral costs needed to be paid two days before the service. This included the funeral itself, the cemetery plot, digging fees and other related expenses. Worst experience at the reception. Staff (Indian lady) gave weird face expressions when asked a question as if I am dumb to ask. Very rude staff.
If I could give minus stars for this branch then I would. Absolutely Woeful.
