Westpac makes billions a year but can’t staff their branches to answer the phone.
One of the worse customer service I've ever experienced in a bank. Took over hour to exchange money. People waiting in line to the door. Only had one trained tell operator and had trainee on. Managers not making process easier or helping. Not banking with Westpac.
On the 31st of October, I deposited a cheque into my account via the ATM. There was an issue, and I went into the branch on the 6th of November. After waiting for half an hour, I was told that the cheque could not be processed and that someone from the bank gave me a call on the 31st. My mobile number on the account was correct, and I showed the concierge my call history, that I did not receive a phone call from westpac.
