Robin and Alisa have years of experience and thousands of births between them. Robin helped me with care for my first baby, and Alisa helped me with all three. They both have very high levels of knowledge, skill, and compassion. We are lucky to have this caliber of midwifery care in San Antonio. What they do every day, is more than a career, it is a calling. God bless them and all the families they help.
I had my baby girl at Westover Hills Birth Center with Robin as my midwife and Alisa assisting (before she came on full time). My labor lasted from 1am to almost midnight. I texted Robin at 1am because I felt water gushing out from me and she replied within minutes assuring me it was early labor and to get some rest. Wonderful, experienced care. 3 years ago I transferred into Robin's care due to my daughter being persistently breech and Robin being one of the most experienced providers in the state with natural breech delivery. She is very attentive to detail and took excellent care of me. My daughter had some trouble breathing at the start, which was scary for me, but Robin didn't skip a beat, and she resuscitated her for a minute until she started to cry on her own. We couldn't be more grateful for the birth experience we had bringing our baby into this world. We had so much love and support, it was everything we had imagined and more.
