I attended this clinic and was seen by Dr Kohn seeking a brief medical letter to support a housing application. I explained that the situation was affecting my mental health. In the letter provided, my concerns were described as “complaining,” which I found dismissive and inappropriate given the mental health context. I did not feel heard or supported during the appointment. The receptionist, however, was lovely and kind.
I was fed misinformation that amoxicillin 500mg was the strongest antibiotic in its family and there is no stronger when augmentin duo forte (amoxil and clavulanic acid) 875/125 is the strength above. I was dismissed when I phoned asking for a stronger and alternative antibiotic, so when the message was relayed to me from your receptionist i said that was a lie. Which it is a lie. Dr Gost has been our family doctor for almost 8 years now, he is wonderful and thorough with his patients. He is kind and always listens to your concerns. The administrative staff are so kind and lovely and know the patients and their stories, I never get bored waiting to be seen which is never a long wait. I can not recommend Westmed Medical Centre highly enough.
