Older hotel that needs some repair/updates but room was spacious and comfortable. Coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator. Enjoyed my stay

We are currently staying at this hotel in Juneau and unfortunately the biggest issue here is the noise. The building is old and clearly needs renovation. The walls feel paper-thin — you can hear everything from neighboring rooms: snoring, TVs, conversations, bathroom noises. In our first room on the 4th floor, we couldn’t sleep because the guest next door was snoring extremely loudly. The rooms are very old and the description of the hotel is misleading. Many of the things listed are simply not true. The only thing this place offers is a room to sleep in, nothing more. My room is extremely cold while the outside temperature is -10°C. I reported this to the staff, but the only solution they offered was an extra blanket. They did not change my room and did not provide a heater. This is unacceptable because a hotel room should at least provide basic comfort and proper heating, especially in such cold weather... read more
