We are members in 6 local HOAs through our rental properties, Westgate has been the least transparent and most lacking in communication of any management company we have had to deal with. The lack of detail in information, omissions on the financials for special assessments in the tens of thousand dollar range, obtaining loans and not sharing what the loans are for and omitting then from the financial has been the most frustrating experience with any management company. We manage over 70 communities with several thousand happy homeowners. Unfortunately it's the unhappy homeowner that takes the time to spread the word. Zero stars: Westgate has one very kind man there, the Owner Tom Simon. He communicates well, but hires and works with this mess: Sadly, there is also the President of the Board, Todd Thompson and The Manager of our property, La Buena Vida Condos, Taos, NM, Michael Phillips; both are bullies, discriminating against disability, unkind, antagonistic and their behavior is disgusting, lacking any care, concern or honoring of tenants. Westgate Properties are my property managers at Pueblo Del Rosario. If someone would drive by and look at the wood frames on the windows they would see how they have been ignored for years. The carports are in really bad shape also. The pavement is in desperate need of help. Many many residents have requested for the property manager from Westgate and the Board to address these situations but they have ignored them constantly and made promised to get back to us.
