While I have not lived in this particular residence, I lived in a house thre or four buildings down from these lofts. While Dexter Street is not the most desirable area on might want to live, I have never NEVER in the four years I lived there seen anything happen to my self, my neighbors, nor my property or belongings. If not for the fact my partner and I have 2 dogs I would love to live in the lofts there. I never felt unsafe there, and as an openly gay, tho non flamboyant man i never felt nervous or unsafe or uncomfortable... read more

I am the manager here and have been for a little over a year now. I do realize that this area has not always been the best, but we have worked his the local community police and Lt. San Lucas and have seen great improvement! We have not had a reported crime at Westfield for over 5 months! Now I have to say that anywhere you go in Providence you need to take precautions. (lock your car, dont leave your purse in the car unattended.....) Our residents and staff work very hard to make this a nice place to live and I believe, aft... read more

I regretted living here. Dont make the same mistake. If you dont believe how bad the crime is in this area, just go to the local police station and ask them. Ive seen things happen to other people, and Ive had my own property vandalized. If you dont think it could happen to you, it will here.
