Thank you Dr. Vaughn I've taken my pets to Dr. Vaughn for years. He is a very caring man. My dog often got sick at the most inopportune times, one such time was a Friday evening before the Holiday. I called Dr. Vaughn panicked, almost convinced that I'd have to pay for emergency veterinary care. His reception answered stating that they were about to leave the office for vacation. We love Dr. Vaughn We have taken our pets to WAH for years. We also have family that take their pets here as well. Many of us have moved from the area but continue to travel back to Pennsauken to take our pets to Dr. Vaughn. He is very kind and considerate when treating pets with illnesses. He will take into consideration a family's means when discussing treatments and outcomes understanding their love for their pet, and of course, wanting the best for them. This place is a nightmare! This veternarian is the worst, I took my dog there for a simple diarrhea and he almost killed him with an anesthesia overdose.
don't go if you love your pets! I use to go to the Dr for my animals.I trusted this man.I had one problem with him when I had my second dog.He over charged me for fixing my dogs leg.When I told him that I didn't have that much on me ,he said she would live a good life with her leg like that.She popped her hip out of place and he thought she be OK if I didn't fix it.Thank god he let me make payments.I never took her back.Now about 20 years my parents took their pets to this man and he prolonged what should have been done a wh... read more
Never Again For years we took our pets here...but never again. I recently called for an appointment and receptionist was beyond rude, I can't even explain how put off I was by her.
highly recommended I've been taking my dogs to Dr. Vaughn @ Westfield Animal Hospital for over 20 years. He's a great diagnostician & has always taken good care of them.
even if time is of the essence keep driving A friend rescued a stray cat and because she didn't have a lot of money she called around and chose this vet. I personally have another vet but this one was in her price range. This is for a reason. The vet is incompetent and the place is outdated. I'm glad I have my own vet. My friend said she will never go back there again. He acted afraid of the cat and disgusted when she sneezed. Animal Hospital My friend takes his pets to the FMA Animal Hospital and he swears by them. I tried it once and was put off by the wait time. The vets and staff seemed very competent but the receptionist seemed rude. The waiting room was also not the cleanest. The vet was good but looked like he was overworked and was just rushing through the inspection.
Westfield Animal Hospital I have heard so many bad things about this place I wouldn't even try it. I've heard of like 3 or 4 animals that have died after simple procedures. If you love your pet, don't take them here.
