Steven M***** was picked for us by our lender. He lied to my husbands face showing him him pictures of comp homes he planned to use for our house and said we would be on the higher end. When we got the appraisal back it turned out he used houses from last year that we’re not the same houses he said he was going to use. He used homes that were priced significantly less and were sold over a year ago!! Houses have gone up extensively $ in value over the last year. Unprofessional and Rude. We didn't get to pick our appraiser or the company, it was assigned by the lender and we are disputing it and will not pay. The appraiser was unbelievably rude, unprofessional, spent more time ******** **** ** *******and talking about music than he did actually taking pictures and doing his job. Then he had to come back and finish the job later because he forgot to do four things that are rather significant.
