Was going to be a new patient but was told I needed a referral from my PCP to be seen. I have a PPO and was told to follow up with a neurologist from the ER. I am not going to make an extra appt for a middle man, I could understand if it was an HMO. Sad, really wanted to go here!
Saw this provider for issues with migraines, facial tightness, twitching, droopiness, neck pain, and posterior cranial tightness along with TMJ symptoms and had MULTIPLE providers concerned for TN due to the flair up of my trigeminal nerve. The doctor spent a grand total of 5 minutes in the room, asking me to lift my arms and legs and sent me to get an MRI. Go to the MRI scan and instead of ordering a scan for what I needed, he orders it to look only for MS. I have had blood work looking for markers of MS and have had none. ... read more
I went to Dr.Yu Due to serious Neurological issues hemiplegic migraines,TBI, Autoimmune Neuromuscular Disease CIDP, no longer sleeping, nervous system stuck in fight or flight and other neurologic issues and I have to say going to Dr.Yu for the second time in My life was the worst decision I have ever made when it comes to neurologist because He failed to do the one thing I came to Him for to handle My nervous system which at the end of the last visit said that He won't be able to give Me a solution to a very serious problem... read more
went to the doctor because of my history of migraines. After ordering a CT scan, he told me that since I am breastfeeding, there are no medications compatible with breastfeeding and that I should stop breastfeeding my baby in order to take Tylenol or simply learn to live with the pain.
