Dr. Yu is the best and most knowledgeable doctor I have ever met. He truly listens, orders appropriate tests, and personally reviews results with you—including going over MRI images himself rather than just reading the radiologist’s report. He offered multiple treatment options, adjusted some of my previous medications, and is excellent with follow-ups. He is very to the point and doesn’t waste your time, but if you have questions or concerns, he takes the time to address them thoroughly. I highly recommend Dr. Yu.
I honestly can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Yu. A couple years ago I found myself suddenly in a debilitating amount of pain, with migraines 5 to 7 days a week, tremors and weakness in my legs that would cause them to suddenly give out and buckle. I fell down my stairs 3 times, causing me to break my toe and fell once on asphalt injuring my knee pretty bad. I went to my general practitioner and asked him if this could be Fibromyalgia because my mother has that. He said "no" without examining me or running any tests... read more
I’ve been seeing Dr. Kan Yu in Gilbert for a little over a year, and he has helped me more in that time than my previous neurologists did in over ten years. Dr. Yu truly cares about his patients and is genuinely eager to help. You can feel his dedication every time you visit. I’m so grateful to have found this office and would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a neurologist who truly listens and makes a difference.

A year ago I had nocturnal headaches and uncontrolled hypertension with the corresponding anxiety. After going to many doctors for years, being prescribed a selection of mind numbing drugs; pain management, I found Dr Yu. As both a cardiologist and a neurologist his expertise is broad. Working together, we reduced my medications, eliminated the anxiety, drastically reduced the headaches and got my hypertension under control. Impressive!
