Was filling out new patient paperwork and happened to double check my insurance. It’s now on the list of ones they don’t accept. Called the office to be told that about a week ago, they changed what insurance they are working with and they had no intention of notifying patients — that I’d just have shown up for my appointment and they’d have sent me away unseen. I have the best neurologist. I came to western neurology because my last neurologist put a sign on the door they were closed. My husband referred me, so I came to see him. The doctor did a full review and had me do test which revealed a brain tumor. Did my last doctor even care? I was with my last doctor for a while and complained about many problems with no solutions. Dr.Yu is awesome! First doctor I’ve had where I felt comfortable talking about my condition. He makes you laugh and also gets straight to the point! I highly appreciate his help & I’m glad this will be my new home doctor!!
Not sure who I spoke to, but he was rude. Didn't listen to me to NOT bill my insurance because it's the result of an accident, he demanded to know my insurances name so I told him- then again said NOT to bill my insurance, it's an auto accident claim. He got irritated at me and told me they don't take my insurance- again- I stated it's an accident claim, not personal insurance, he told me "we don't do that here" and hung up. :/ my pain doctor referred me, and this is what I get.
