As others have noted, I have been a patient at Western Montana Clinic for 30 years. However, they laid off my primary provider and now indicate that they have no providers accepting "new patients." They said I could fill out a new patient form but that would be a "low priority." Perhaps they should have publicized that they were firing a large portion of their workforce and with them all of their patients. So disappointed in their quality of care.
I called to make an appointment with my primary today for my annual exam. The receptionist told me she and her nurse were permanently laid off from covid and suggested I find a new health care provider. I was shocked...I had not recieved any type of notification from WMC and now am without a provider. Extremely poor communication and support from WMC. As an R.N. in this community, I am not being a patient at WMC.
