Dr Schmalz could not have been any better in answering my questions and assisting me with insulin administering after being released from Community with a diagnosis of Type 1 diabetes at 76+ years old, contracted from Keytruda (a 1-3% side effect). It turned my world upside down, but Dr Schmalz’s care and concern righted that. Triple negative breast cancer, chemo, current radiation, and now good ol’ diabetes. Oh what fun!!!
