We had a very enjoyable day. The car attendant was excellent. We rode in the dome car and the charcuterie board was excellent. Carriage Museum in Frostburg was very interesting.
Had a great time and brett buzzington made the experience worth while.
Absolutely marvelous experience for Wonderful Wife(tm) and I. All personnel were gracious, informative, and thoughtful. ProTip: travel lunch class or above.
Had a wonderful train ride with the WMSR! I did the cab ride up with engineer David and it was a wonderful and extremely intuitive experience! I did the lunch car ticket and they usually serve meals on the way up. Dan in the dining car was able to accommodate me on the way back instead, and he and the kitchen did not disappoint! They serve an excellent Turkey Avocado Sandwich, and the brownie dessert was delicious. Everything was wonderful, and I hope to come back when the Steam Locomotive is running!
