Lots of fun!
Staff was great. Train car and engine were very nice and food was as expected. Only negative was boarding at the station counts as ride time and the train stops for a good bit halfway during dinner. It goes slow enough that I'm able to eat while moving no problem. Definitely worth going especially if they bring out the steam train in the summer!
This dinner train ride was outstanding! The service was excellent. My meal was absolutely exquisite, featuring an artful arrangement of pan-seared sea bass, asparagus, various types of potatoes, and a flower garnish. The desserts were equally enjoyable. Because it gets dark so early this time of year, you couldn't see anything scenic outside of the train window. However, it was still well worth the money and I'll probably do a day-time brunch train ride next for the scenic views of the mountains.
