I've been a regular visitor since I arrived in Boise in 2009. I'm sorry to see the dwindling numbers of farm-related exhibits (and fewer animals), which I guess can't be helped as farmers struggle. But I love to see those old-fashioned tractors and engines, the championship pumpkins and quilts and prize cookies. Of course we're lucky to get some very good musical talent, too, free with admission. Some of the prices on the Midway are getting too high for my old pocketbook, but it's still a pleasure. Hooray for Idaho.

There's is no one out in the parking area to help with traffic flow to assist drivers in getting out onto arterial roads to exits and cars back up. Need some organizational help for traffic management.
The fair was great the food really good and the concerts were awesome!
Thank you for bringing in great entertainment and keeping the price at just 'Fair admission'. That's SO appreciated! We really enjoyed Huey Lewis and The News last night! Fair food was, as always, a wonderful treat - corn dog followed by fresh corn (from IMSARU's booth) - yum! Always fun to visit the animals and the flowers and art in the merchant's building. It would have been very helpful to have had more help directing traffic out of the parking lot. Getting out was a pain! Other than that, perfect evening!
