I visited the Western Idaho Community Crisis Center twice between June 27 and July 4. On both occasions, I was upfront about my situation. I came seeking low-barrier, short-term support at a critical point in my life. I’ve been sleeping outside for the past year. Turned me away when the emergency room sent me there while I was in crisis

The staff was great and I get your clinicians can get busy, however asking why someone is there when you're a crisis center is counter productive and I have to turn around and go to Boise to intermountain and possibly get declined there bc I don't meet criteria and your center is supposed to be there to prevent such unnecessary admissions, this is so frustrating bc whatever I'm going through is bad enough....thanks for not helping
