Such a bummer to see this place go out of business. My parents worked there for a long periods of time and their coworkers have been there for a decades and their coworkers are still employees at Western Forge. Sucks that all of the employees are going to lose their jobs.

I find it unsettling that another heavy industry is closing down, and its place in the market will end up being supported by another country, and its very specialized equipment will support a foreign economy and its military. yes, this is bad for the Springs. But, I am much more concerned with the effect at the national security level. People, we are selling our manufacturing soul to people who WILL use it against us at some point, and we will have no ability to respond.
