They routinely make you wait an hour or more past your appointment time just to be seen. But the worst part? They never answer the phone. I’ve been trying to call with a simple question about retainers I need, and I cannot get anyone from the actual office on the line. Every single time, I get dumped into a call center. Their only “solution” is to call the office themselves (which also doesn’t get answered) or tell me to email the office — and the emails never get results either. Both times I have gone here I have waited an hour and half after my appointment time to see the dentist.

I’ve been going to Western Dental in Redwood City and, unfortunately, the experience hasn’t been great. The lobby is often unclean, and the wait times are very long — it takes forever to actually be seen, even with an appointment. The dentist I saw was nice, but that alone doesn’t make up for the overall environment. The office is also very loud, with constant conversations among staff that make it feel chaotic rather than calming. It’s not a relaxing atmosphere and it can really put you on edge while waiting.
