If at all possible do not go to Western Dental. Do not trust them ever. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money to see a real dentist. It will most likely pay off in the long run. Your teeth are one of your most important personal assets.
Went to Western Dental in Santa Monica Mon, Tues, and Friday experiencing excellence. When a patient has a question they have to sources to read or view (1) Home instructions post procedure and (2) calling the office clearly stating wait for advice. Unfortunately, I have had a few tooth extractions in my day but never has a simple extraction caused so much damage. First of all, the Dentist - serious language barrier, incompetent, seemed like he never spent a day in med school and bought his credential from the KGB. Anyway, he must have hit a nerve in my front tooth (not the tooth being pulled) as I can no longer drink anything cold without screaming pain from that front tooth which should not have been affected. this is my first ever online review. I have terminal cancer and was treated with such distain at this branch that I left in tears unable to receive treatment (which I can only receive at certain times in my chemo cycle). I was greeted with the news upon arrival that I may not be able to be seen, as my apptmt had been filed under cash customer rather than insurance (not my fault), but no apology was made. I was very happy with my experience at this dentist today. A couple of days ago, I went to a different denist in Santa Monica. As I'm returning to England in a few days, I wanted to know the price of any treatment I might get beause I could just have it done for free in England. At the other dentist, they seemed very surprised to be asked, then kept me waiting in the chair for an hour, and then came back with $908!
