poorly managed,not what it appears to be on the surface ..I'm sure they do some good,but they need to learn to be more grateful
It's like a prison .. and the men are treated better than the women .. I could go on but that's enough oh also all the food is old .. had a maggot come out of a fruit bar but I am grateful for the shelter for that 3 weeks minus the camera above my head and 10 min showers that they rush you to take .. the 430 kerfew gives no time for work or bettering yourself .
I gave one star because the food was good. Upon my entrance to the place, I was really given not much instruction. But, man oh man!!! The word I heard the most was CANT!! I stayed 1 night. I got no sleep!! I was met with HATEFULNESS & PREDJUDICE!!! Sleeping out on the streets proved much less stressful! I understand why ssomany of this areas homeless choose to do so as well!
I have been volunteering at the rescue mission for nearly 7 years! I have witnessed change in every area, always for the better. There is an out pouring of love ❤️ here. A genuine concern for the well being of our community. There is no perfect place on this earth, and some people wouldn't be satisfied if there was. If you are in need of a hand up...this is a wonderful place to start. I love this community and I love this mission. God bless

It was truly a pleasure to join with my friend Ian Wilkinson to create a World Peace Mural here at Western Carolina Rescue Ministries. This was the 35th mural for my project, "The World Peace Mural Tour," and it was great to meet Michael Woods and see how much he cares for the community. This place is great!!!
