When you fall on hard times,abusive boyfriend, family gave up on you, your living in your car with your dog. And this nice couple comes up to you with food and hot coffee and dog food and a big long hug that I desperately needed. these are some of the most selfless people that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. they are doing a good thing for their communities. my youth group has volunteered for 4 years now and my hope is they will continue to volunteer when they have reached adulthood and that they will teach their children that it is much better to give than to receive.
