RecommendedDr. Krontz was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and nice. I highly recommend. They worked me in immediately as I was concerned about a change in my vision.
I loved them until Covid. They do not take any consideration for people who have health exemptions for masks. It was either wear the mask the way they wanted, at all times or I had to get another appointment for my child when Covid was over. Of course, nobody could tell me when that was.

We are dedicated and serious about protecting all of our patients. We are sorry for the inconvenience but truly appreciate all our patients. We are doing our very best each day. This year certainly has been challenging.
My husband showed up for his scheduled appt today. He does not wear a mask due to a medical condition, which is NOT required by law to disclose. Not only was he refused service, without prior notice of a mask requirement but, Western Carolina Eye Associates CANCELLED HIM AS A CLIENT!!!
Excellent service and great staff
My husband had broken his glass frames and did not have a back up pair. Maria Sylvester was fantastic! She repaired his frames in a few minutes and could not have been more accommodating! We will definitely be ordering another pair.

Thank you so much for a wonderful experience. I was on vacation in Boone from Florida and just searched the office by reviews. I came in around 4:00 on a Friday with a scratched cornea. I apologized for the late walk in on a Friday but the staff was beyond nice and acted as if it was no problem. I was back within minutes and the technician (I wish I remembered his name) was the nicest person I think I've ever met. Dr. Krontz was well informed and provided what I needed. Everything they do is of superb quality.
I just had cataract surgery on my left eye April 26th and the right eye May 10th. Both were done at Cannon Hospital in Linville by Dr. Sara Creekmore of Western Carolina Eye Associates. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Creekmore or Cannon Hospital. I would highly recommend her and WCEA to anyone. It is wonderful to be able to see so clearly now. Thank you. Pat
