The providers are good. Never had any issues. I do however, take MAJOR issue with them calling my emergency contact in an attempt to collect payment. If that isn't a HIPAA violation, then it should be.
They did my son’s anesthesia for his dental procedure. They refused to run the cost through insurance and force me to pay $900 up front. Then my insurance covered $830 and I had to pay $70, therefore my reimbursement check should have been $830. However, they are claiming they did $1200 of work and insurance wouldn’t cover $300 for drive time for their providers and extra medical equipment, however, the claim they submitted was for $900…definitely running an insurance scam. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!
Report these people to Mercy. They violate your patient rights to respect. They are also very rude and they will lie to you.
I just received an invoice from Western Anesthesiology Associates for $250. My insurance fully covers preventative procedures but Western Anesthesiology Associates refused to get a pre-authorization for my anesthesia. My insurance company just called them and the agent reported that Western Anesthesiology Associates also refused to issue a retro-authorization.
