How is the place still in business? I had a nightmare experience with a couple of watches I brought in and after months, it finally got sorted it...sort of. That was a couple of years ago. Went here today at 2pm, which as per their Google business hours, they should be open. Instead, it's masks mandated, appointments only. They do not have a website, or anything recent on their Facebook/Instagram indicating this. There was a "sorry we are closed" sign on the door, with a note under it saying all appointments must be pre-booked, masks must be worn, e-transfers and cash only, minimum deposit is 50%, and due to staff leaving production time is now longer.
Went to have rings made. The owner made it seem very promising and that it would be done in the 4 weeks that it was needed for. After multiple calls and visits, each time it was as though I was going there for the first time. A lot of excuses were made that someone was away or he’s been busy. At the last minute I had to find another jeweller because he once again was unsure what it was that I wanted.
Service has fallen drastically since they moved. I never had to book an appointment with a jeweller to get a watch battery replaced ! Ridiculous!!!
Been going for several years here for gifts, repairs and got our wedding bands there too.
