RecommendedA better question might be what I DON'T recommend about South Meadow Animal Clinic. My answer would be nothing. Dr. Mayes is an awesome vet. He treats my cats as if they were his own. His staff is very compassionate also, especially when one of my babies crosses over the Rainbow Bridge. I never have any trouble getting an appointment, and it is very seldom that Dr. Mayes is running late. If he is, it is probably because an emergency has come in. I love South Meadow Animal Clinic!
Dr. Mayes and the staff are always so great with our Dogs! They are very kind and helpful. They always answer all of our questions and are always very respectful.
They treated my dog (and me) with care and compassion!
Been using this clinic on and off these last years. The staff is wonderful, caring, and compassionate. I can't imagine going anywhere else.

Absolutely love this clinic and their amazing and dedicated staff! Always eager to speak and make their clients and pets feel comfortable and welcomed! I'm new to the DFW area, but not new to Vet clinics.. I've had my fair share of unpleasant experiences in the past.. South Meadow exceeded my expectations the moment we walked in! Thank you for being through with Axel's examinations and taking the time to give tips and advice when needed!
