My son lived in a West & Company apartment complex (Main Street, Moscow, ID) for several years before buying a home. To be fair, a different property management company maintained the building for the first few years. Overall, he was satisfied with his two bedroom, second floor apartment, but the exterior upkeep was awful. Very reliable property management. Kept up with any repairs in a timely manner and was flexible with my needs as a tenant. One of my favourite apartments I’ve lived at in Spokane. Sad to be moving away, but glad to have gotten lucky with my stay at West and Co apartments! Good people
2 of use put in our application and paid the fee just to be told they don’t have any availability. They refused a refund.
Absolutely terrible experience with West and Co. If I could give zero stars, I would. From the very beginning, communication was a nightmare—they rarely responded to emails or calls, and when they did, it was dismissive or unhelpful.The property itself was not well-maintained, and any issues we reported (leaks, broken appliances, pest problems) were either ignored or "fixed" with the cheapest, most temporary solutions. They take advantage of young college students and changed their “policies” without telling us. We moved into a literal trash house with rat poop and asked for basic help with safety concerns and received no response. Charged us for smoke detectors and paint jobs AFTER we moved out. This company poses a big safety risk for you or your loved one, and they do not take college students seriously.
