We had a great experience working with Dr. Cheryl! She gave us helpful excercies to work on at home and was reassuring and knowledgeable with all of our questions around our infant.
Our son has been receiving therapy at Sensory Jim since June of this year. At that point his mobility was limited. The development of his motor skills were far behind that of similarly aged infants and his social engagement also limited. The sensory approach to therapy is an excellent compliment to more traditional forms of physical therapy. Dr Dana and her team are amazing!
From the first time we spoke to Dr Dana, we felt heard and understood. Our baby was born with low tone and was suggested to do PT after her discharge. We initially went to another clinic where we felt it was fine but something was off. The PT was knowledgable but was often not intuned with our baby. We have Dr Cheryl at Westchester PT and she has an amazing gentle touch, coaxing our girl but not forcing her into exercises when she is not ready for it. Dr. Dana and Dr. Cheryl are both so knowledgeable and creative in their treatment techniques. As an OT myself, I am so grateful to them for all of their help.
